Welcome to the BlogHer Conference Newsletter.

We've got several announcements to make this issue. First, more details about what's on tap for BlogHer Business (and why it's such a unique and powerful event for anyone in the social media world). Next, we announce our official "Call for Ideas" for BlogHer '08. And last but not least...drum roll please...we have solidified dates for our Reach Out Tour! Read on to find out more about the whats, whos, and whens of our most extensive conference year yet.

Update #1: Why You (& Your Company) Should Register for BlogHer Business

Imagine some of the most skilled, knowledgeable, and successful social media gurus all in the same place for two days, for the sole purpose of sharing stories and insight with you. Instead of lectures, imagine conversations. Instead of seminars, imagine sitting at a table with your favorite expert just to ask her questions. Imagine a conference dedicated to discussing bleeding-edge social media technology while putting a moratorium on buzzwords that don't mean anything in favor of real case studies that do.

That is what BlogHer Business is all about. Check out the full agenda here to see what -- and who -- is in store.

Reminder: Part of what makes BlogHer Business successful is its small and intimate size. However, this means that seats are limited and we will sell out! We encourage you to register early. (Earlybird pricing ends February 15.)

Update #2: Want to Speak at BlogHer '08? Want to Attend a Session on _____? Here's How to Let Us Know

Step One: Read Elisa's post here.

Step Two: Come up with ideas around our conference theme of "Reach!" in one of the outlined Tracks. Your ideas may be a line or two or a full session abstract. You can submit an idea even if you don't want to be considered as a speaker for it. If there is a topic, a person, a subject you think BlogHer '08 should include, we want to know about it!

Step Three: Submit your ideas via email to Elisa for the appropriate Track. Please use [BlogHer 08 Submission_Track Name] in the subject line to help us organize.

Update #3: BlogHer's Reach Out Tour Dates Announced
In October of 2008, BlogHer is launching its first-ever road show! For those members of our community who can't make it to the annual event (and for those who can but simply want MORE), this year BlogHer will be bringing the conference to cities down the Eastern Seaboard and into the South.

Each city stop will include a full-day conference and cocktail party. Programming will vary slightly from city to city, and you're welcome to come to as many cities as you like!

Registration will open in March, but for now we ask you to mark your calendars:

Boston - Saturday, October 11
DC - Monday, October 13
Nashville - Thursday, October 16
Greensboro - Saturday, October 18
Atlanta - Tuesday, October 21
New Orleans - Saturday, October 25
