10 Movies to Watch When Your Feeling Stressed Out, Burnt Out or Bummd Out

It’s impossible to be glum when Johnny (Patrick Swayze) and Baby (Jennifer Grey) take the floor for their final dance!

Wedding Crashers

If you’re just in need of a good laugh, this movie will certainly do it.

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are simply hilarious.

The plot is that the two are cynical about marriage, and therefore make it a hobby to crash wedding receptions.

When William Cleary (Christopher Walken), the nation’s Secretary of the Treasury and a possible candidate for the Presidency, announces his daughter is to wed, they of course decide they must crash the party. The rest unfolds hysterically.

As a lover of chocolate, this one is a must-see.

In this heart felt comedy, chocolate becomes the key weapon in a battle of sensual pleasure versus disciplined self-denial.

A mysterious woman named Vianne, moves with her young daughter into a small French village, where much of the community’s activities are dominated by a local church.

She stirs up the pot, literally and figuratively, with her delicious chocolate creations.

With the help of Johnny Depp she puts on the “Grand Festival of Chocolate”.

Very cute movie all around as Vianne brings life and color into the community around her.

Eat Pray Love

I really enjoyed the book and was a little skeptical about the movie, as usually movies let down me down after reading the book.

But Julia Roberts does a great job. As a lover of travel myself, I totally identified with her character – especially for those of you going through a mid or quarter life crisis.

Julia experiences what can be referred to as an “Expectation Hangover” coined by Christine Hassler. She married the man of her dreams, had a great career, moved into a nice house – and yet something was missing.

While we can’t all follow in Julia’s footsteps of moving across the world, we can learn some great lessons in life, love, and choosing to see life from a fresh perspective.

Plus, who doesn’t like “Dog Days Are Over” playing in the background?

Happy Movie Watching!
