$100 Question Promo Graphic

Welcome to The $100 Question, where fellow BlogHers are asking questions ... and every answer could be worth one hundred dollars!

$100 Question Dutch Blitz
Let's meet today's host: Angella from Dutch Blitz

Angella is an accountant by trade but has way more fun as a photographer and writer. She's been married for a decade now (!) and has three of the most amazing children that the world has ever seen. She's been writing on her Work It! Mom and writes copy/runs the blog over at The Daily Grommet. She contributes to other sites as well but even thinking about it makes her sleepy.

Ready to play? Here is The $100 Question for Tuesday, May 11:

What is your favorite summer drink?

Angella's favorite summer drink depends on the situation. If she's out for dinner with her husband she most often opts for a martini. If she's having company over she will usually whip up some fresh mojitos or margaritas on the rocks. And if she's meeting up with a bunch of bloggers she almost always goes for a vodka tonic.

How to play: Tell Angella your answer to her question in the comments below by 5 p.m. Thursday, May 13 to be eligible to win. We'll enter all the comments into a randomizer and choose one lucky commenter to win. Comment as many times as you want. Click here to read the official rules. Good luck!

Want more chances to win?

Please join us tomorrow for Wednesday's question, asked by Jennifer from MckMama for another chance to win.

You can check out the full list of bloggers and questions in the The $100 Question archive.

I'm an iced tea girl, through and through.

Like you, it depends on the situation. Sometimes I want a heavy, fruity drink that reminds me of my frequent trips to Key West. Sometimes light. Now that we're in Tennessee, I ignore our budget and buy fruit just for garnish, little parasols, and party picks just to recreate what I consider a "summer" feeling cocktail.

Here's a tip from a friend - freeze lemon, lime, and orange wedges for cocktails if you're not a regular drinker.

I'd have to say my favourite summer drink is the same as my favourite spring drink and winter and fall...Coke! If a person could write love letters to Coke, I probably would. Due to the efforts of losing baby weight plus and wanting to keep it off, my Coke intake has lessened from a portable IV to one or two a week. It's depressing I know, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

My fave drink year round is wine, but in the summer I love a chilled sauvignon blanc!

There's a bar in St Louis called The Royale that makes The Subcontinental. It's cucumber juice, Bombay Sapphire gin, fresh lime, Cointreau and sugar, blended. Awwwwesome.

mikekarr 5 pts

It's a Gin and Tonic for me, with good Gin. Otherwise a vodka tonic will do in a pinch. Thanks!

I agree with Angella - my favorite depends on my the situation. If I'm out with my husband for drinks, then give me a cosmo. At home, I don't take the time to mix fancy drinks, so if I do want an "adult" beverage, I'll opt for a vodka tonic.

I brew a big batch of "tea" with hibiscus flowers(tangy/fruity), eucalyptus leaves (citrusy), and chamomile flowers (to mellow and smooth out the other two)

It's soooo good!

I love sweet tea and iced coffee.

When I am lounging by the pool or hanging with friends I like either bellinis (peach nectar, raspberry juice, and champagne) or a fruit concoction I make with pineapple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, passion fruit juice, fresh lemon juice and lime juice, peach schnapps, and dark rum.
