I'm an iced tea girl, through and through.

Like you, it depends on the situation. Sometimes I want a heavy, fruity drink that reminds me of my frequent trips to Key West. Sometimes light. Now that we're in Tennessee, I ignore our budget and buy fruit just for garnish, little parasols, and party picks just to recreate what I consider a "summer" feeling cocktail.

Here's a tip from a friend - freeze lemon, lime, and orange wedges for cocktails if you're not a regular drinker.

My favorite, LEMONADE!! YUM I could drink in day in and day out..

OMG! I just had the lime and cherry soda at Taco Bell. It's fabulous!

Long Island Iced Tea when I'm feeling sassy...diet iced tea with Crystal Light Lemonade 50/50 mix when I need to have a clear head.

I'd have to say my favourite summer drink is the same as my favourite spring drink and winter and fall...Coke! If a person could write love letters to Coke, I probably would. Due to the efforts of losing baby weight plus and wanting to keep it off, my Coke intake has lessened from a portable IV to one or two a week. It's depressing I know, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

My favorite summer drink is limeade or lemonade. So good.

I'm echoing deew27 - margaritas for summer special events, but diet coke mainly.

On a hot summer day, a margarita will do nicely

I used to love lemonade but limeade is now my favorite.

My fave drink year round is wine, but in the summer I love a chilled sauvignon blanc!

There's a bar in St Louis called The Royale that makes The Subcontinental. It's cucumber juice, Bombay Sapphire gin, fresh lime, Cointreau and sugar, blended. Awwwwesome.

It's a Gin and Tonic for me, with good Gin. Otherwise a vodka tonic will do in a pinch. Thanks!

I agree with Angella - my favorite depends on my the situation. If I'm out with my husband for drinks, then give me a cosmo. At home, I don't take the time to mix fancy drinks, so if I do want an "adult" beverage, I'll opt for a vodka tonic.

Non alcoholic: Ski soda with cherry in it(it's a southern thing)!

I love a mixture of diet sprite and cranberry juice. Tart and bubbly and tangy. Yum!

I love Shirley Temples. Orange juice, sprite, grenadine, and a dash of lime - with a cherry in the bottom. Yummy!

I like lemonade in the summer

nothing is better then what I call a "naughty smoothy" Basically, I take the aforementioned fruity tea, add a bunch of ice, some rum or vodka, and some garden herbs and wizzzz it up. yummmm

I brew a big batch of "tea" with hibiscus flowers(tangy/fruity), eucalyptus leaves (citrusy), and chamomile flowers (to mellow and smooth out the other two)

It's soooo good!

I love a nice Chardonay or Riesling

Boring, but my tried and true.
No sugar, just fresh squeezed lemons and ice water.

When I am lounging by the pool or hanging with friends I like either bellinis (peach nectar, raspberry juice, and champagne) or a fruit concoction I make with pineapple juice, orange juice, cranberry juice, passion fruit juice, fresh lemon juice and lime juice, peach schnapps, and dark rum.
