My favorite thing to cook is grilled everything. Keeps the mess outside and my family always loves it. Best meal for our family is grilled salmon, with grilled zucchini and asparagus served with risotto.

My very favorite thing to make this time of year are traditional Christmas cookies. My mom, sister, brothers, and I would cut the shapes out with cookie cutters after my mom made the dough and rolled it out. Once they were baked, we would frost and decorate them. My mom would make several different colors of frosting, so they would be very festive, pretty, and of course, delicious!

I looooove to make chocolate covered lemons!!! That combination of sour and dark chocolate is like a party in your mouth. Try it! I love making chocolate fondue for fruits and cookies too - toblerone with heavy cream, butter and vanilla and a dash of brandy!

It changes, but I do like to cook pasta. All my kids like pasta, and it is more fun to cook when your efforts are appreciated.

It is almost that time a year again. It actually is a squash bread, but I had a crumb on the top to make it into a cake. Very moist.

This is hard to answer, but I love making soup. Probably a blended veggie soup that's creamy without any cream. I love the carrot-ginger soup I make with red lentils and indian spices.

I'm not really a fan of cooking. Especially now that I have back issues. However, when I DO cook, my favorite thing is to cook a huge pot of something (Goulash, Taco Soup, Chili, or...) so that the mess is a one-time-thing. Then I can freeze half of it; and eat leftovers for several nights. That lets me off the hook for several dinners.

I love to make an assortment of pastas with a variety of meats cooked differently. Each meat and sauce lends a different flavor to the pasta. My family loves it and it's an easy way to include wholesome veggies into dinner!

I adore making smoothies! Not really 'cooking' but that's OK. My teenage 'first job' was at Jamba Juice - go figure.

I get giddy adding fruity ingredients and creating fabulous healthy flavor combos. I post a wide variety of vegan smoothies and juice recipes on my blog:

I like cooking in general - when I am in the mood- and creating fab salads, stir fry or pasta - you can do soooo many things and make them taste totally different each time. So, any or all of those is I guess my answer.

I don't like to cook nearly as well as I like to bake (especially cookies). If I am going to cook, I like to do something very simple--like in the slow cooker. I make a really good corned beef and cabbage in the slow cooker.

My favorite thing to cook is cake. I enjoy mixing the ingredients and smelling the cake as it bakes. I really enjoy getting into the decorating to make something beautiful. The fact that it tastes great and I get a lot of compliments really helps!

Saute up some mushrooms, peppers, and onions (any veggies you like) then add some egg beaters and scramble them up! Egg beaters are only 30 calories per serving (equivalent of 1 egg) and full of protein.

I was so bad at making rice that I thought I would never find a recipe with rice that I could enjoy cooking. But I found a recipe that starts with a Box of Uncle Ben's Long grain and wild rice (It also contains a seasoning packet) Then I add fresh cooked ground chicken (we grind chicken breasts when they are on sale) and dried cherries and apricots and cook until the rice is done just the way we like it. So simple to make and it has become one of our favorites

seems like an odd combo, but these are my fav things to cook, I love love to cook them as they are the 2 things my kids get the most fun making with me. we can be adventure and add what we want and decorate them in fun ways. they are a lot of fun to make and eat, and are guaranteed my picky eaters will finish.

My favorite thing to cook is lumpia. Lumpia are a Filipino style spring roll. The thing that makes them special is that finding ingredients is harder in the area I live in as we only have a couple of stores that carry lumpia wrappers so I don't get to make them as often as my family would like.

Pasta and bacon and whatever frozen/fresh vegetable is in the freezer/fridge that day.

I usually decide to make this at 6:30 pm after my husband and I have finished our argument about whether or not to order pizza. Once I have resigned myself to losing said argument, I rummage through the freezer, pull out a couple of slices of bacon (I always freeze bacon and turkey bacon because it's good to have on hand), drag out the penne pasta (which I buy in bulk from Costco), and start dumping all the little half and 1/4 bags of frozen veggies that have been kicking around the bottom of my freezer into a bowl to defrost a little. Then I sigh and look in the fridge because there's usually an onion, or some leeks hanging out there. I put a big pot of water on for the pasta, I cook the bacon in my cast iron skillet, let the bacon drain on some paper towels, then sauté the onion in the bacon fat. Once the pasta is almost al dente I drain it, then sauté whatever veggies I'm using. If I have some fresh thyme or basil, I throw that in, if I have some parsley I throw that in too, if I don't, I dont. Then I dump the pasta into the sauce, add about 1/2 a cup of pasta water, a swirl or two of olive oil and the bacon back in. Once I had some ricotta cheese, and I threw that in and it was magnificent.

I never want to make this, because I only seem to make it when I'd rather have pizza - However, my husband and children LOVE this recipe - and, in the end, the accolades are more than worth it.

I guess if I really didn't want to make this, I'd stop freezing the bacon and buying penne in bulk.

I have to say, it's really good. It's really, really that good.
