Hi everyone! So here are a few wedding venues I like:
http://youtu.be/yPn7M_L7tLw
This is the Sanctuary- it is a timeless place in Arizona with the most amazing sunsets. Food is good and not too pricey for the most enchanting wedding.

Secondly, I would have to refer the Se in SD http://www.flickr.com/photos/sesdhotel/5527536982/... Its for the more chic type bride though. Beautiful setting in SD with the beach and downtown not too far.

I think those are my top two venues I would suggest, as for wedding videos, 618studios does some amazing work http://vimeo.com/23336593

Ok thats all! hope these help :)

I love to hear personalized wedding vows.

My favorite wedding "touch" is simplicity. I like simple weddings that are more about the couple, and the marriage, than the wedding itself. There's a reason I chose to get married in front of friends and family (rather than eloping, which would have been MUCH cheaper!), so I wanted to focus on the community and the people rather than the "event."

Congratulations!

I've never been a fan of big, elaborate weddings. We go married in a gazebo at the beach with only family in attendance. My brother-in-law, who is a deputy sheriff and notary, officiated. Then we all went out for a nice family dinner. Simple, enjoyable, no one ends up tearing out their hair or arguing about the wedding arrangements.

I love personalized vows, matching bridesmaid dresses that don't make me gag and bird seed in place of rice.

I love to see pics of the happy couple through the time they've been together.

showers--the more the better! It's fun getting together with friends and family for great food, great gifts, and great laughs. I'm not crazy about shower games; I'd prefer just to chat and enjoy each other's company.

I like to hear vows that the couple wrote themselves

I love to see the flowers at the church and the reception. I think they add a nice personal touch.

I think favors are kind of a waste, but I think it's a neat idea when out of town guests check into their hotel room, the bride has a gift bag with a map of the town, maybe some brochures of things in the area, a bottle of water, etc. I think that's thoughtful.

Recently that had impersonators as the waitstaff. They hired local actors to play famous stars like Elvis, dolly parton, even Lady Gaga. They were quite campy and over the top, it was great fun.

I love to see the cake designs and the tables centerpieces. I love pretty and simple thanks for the chance to win.

I always love when the music the bridal party walks down to is different. My bridal party went down the aisle to an instrumental version of "Stairway to Heaven" and I walked down to an instrumental version of "Bittersweet Symphony"

My favorite wedding idea would to be the wedding cake, I like a different flavor cake with the couples decorating ideas.

omosmom 5 pts

When you take a traditional idea and make it your own. For example -- everyone has a cake, but we went to a wedding where there was a 'cake bar' -- one small cake to cut and a half dozen other flavors so people could actually eat a piece that they liked -- instead of dry white cake. Yummy.

I love weddings where guests are encouraged to write down their hopes and dreams for the couple. That is a great gift that keeps on giving and is wonderful to look at when they're going through a difficult time.

Another favorite wedding touch are extravagent bridesmaid dresses and wedding dress.

My favorite touch to see at a wedding are flowers everywhereee.

Save yourself tons of money and headaches. Fly to Las Vegas and get married in a small inexpensive chapel. That's what I did and loved it!

sweepstakes1976@yahoo.com 5 pts

the perfect wedding would be a small wedding in the mountains. and a family camping trip for the honeymoon.

I love it when the guests are given cameras to take photos and leave for the bride and groom. Not only will they get some (hopefully) great candid shots of themselves, but they'll also get photos of their guests having a great time.

Lvpierson 5 pts

My fave touch at a wedding is something well thought out that the guests can take home...Everyone is always only thinking about the bride and groom so something sweet the guests can take home is uber awesome! Maybe a candle or bubbles or other small treat, something thoughtful!

i think outdoor weddings are so beautiful especially near a beautiful lake with the birds and crickets chirping..what an awesome way to start a life together :)

fouragainsttwo 6 pts

I like it when the bride and groom face the audience. No offense to the pastor, but I want to see the faces of my friends and family and not just their backs!

my favorite touch to see at a wedding is when the couple looks really in love!

I like weddings that are a little more casual. At my cousins wedding there were a lot of children (including my own) and they all had fun dancing.

As they are a military couple, it would be sweet to get married on Veteran's Day and donate money that would be spent on favors in their guests honor to the local VFW for charitable works.

I am not of Arabic or Turkish descent, but love Arabic Dance and music. I had a zeffa at my wedding, and, of course, the dancer also danced for the crowd while the buffet was still being readied.

Everyone considered this a major highlight of my wedding.

Also, I did my ceremony and dinner in the same hall to save time and money. I have always hated waiting between the ceremony and the banquet. It helps to be a liberal Protestant when it comes to that.

MY ideal wedding location would be in a national park

BROWNEYES 5 pts

love seeing plants as centerpieces to be replanted instead of dead old flowers later on...sometimes people take them home but at one they took the plants and put them outside of their new home to grow and flourish

BROWNEYES 5 pts

that are unique to the bride and groom...not commercialized- I have seen some amazing ones where the friends have made it or the moms and they are beautiful and affordable

JavaMom 5 pts

I'll admit it, this came from our own wedding. Because I'm a scrapbooker, instead of a guest book, we had notecards for our guests to sign and encouraged them to write us a note on them (rather than just a signature) so I could put them into a book. It means a lot to have special words of wisdom from our friends and family -- especially from older family members who are now no longer with us. We've never looked at our wedding DVD, we've had a problem getting all our professional wedding photos back from the photographer, but those special words, actually written at the reception, are just priceless.

Taminar 5 pts

I like to see mutual respect between the bride and groom. None of this shoving cake in each other's faces and other jokes that say the couple aren't really taking the wedding seriously. I'm all for a sense of fun (the last wedding I went to, the couple paused before the kiss to update their Facebook status using their phones), but also have respect for each other and the process. This is the rest of your life, people!

olympicgirl 5 pts

I like blowing bubbles to see the couple off
