The $100 Question: What Did You Want to Be When You Grew Up?

I wanted to be an editor for as long as I can remember—and I wasn't even sure what it was! [But I am.]

I've wanted to be a Mom since before I can remember

Since I was about 8

When I grew up I wanted to be a newspaper reporter like Lois Lane. I did work for a newspaper for several years, but, I found my superman, married and raised two sons instead of going on to be a reporter.

... and that's exactly what i'm doing now.
ok there was a time when i want to drive ice cream trucks too... clearly that didn't work out.

A drummer in a rock band. Didn't work out. Apparently you need more than one lesson a drum set. I went to one lesson and sold my drum kit after a few months!

I've always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, and I still want to be one. Instead, I'm in grad school for biology, which is not nearly as fun.

I am now the mom of two great boys.

When I was growing up, women's roles were very limited, really either teachers or nurses. I thought I'd like to become a teacher.

I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was little but settled for a veterinary receptionist as my career before kids... now I am a stay at home homeschooling mom with three fur babies and three human babies and could not be happier

I wanted to be a fashion designer when i grew up. Loved my Fashion Plates toy, my parents got me a child-size drafting table and I used to sketch out outfits. By 5th grade I was sewing my own clothes and wearing them to school, and my Barbies always had the most unique wardrobe!
