I love the 1930's because of the cute fashion, hair styles and vintage items that have come from that era.

I would love to go back and observe all sorts of different eras in different parts of the world. Though permanently I would probably be happiest in my current one. I think I would have such a hard time adapting to the expectations of women in other eras. Also if I couldn't be wealthy in other eras I don't don't know if I could work my fingers to the bone daily which would surely be my lot. I like the generally cushy life of this era (in relation to most eras of the past)

Well i have always been a fan of the early pioneer times like the late 1700s early 1800s, think Little House on the Prairie! I would love to live in a time where you had to make your own clothes, grow your own food, use a horse to travel and live in a country setting. I feel life is way to fast pace, we miss out on the act of doing and only want results. Back then it seems that you would have to be patient and learn to fend for yourself a bit.

I would love to have lived in the 30's just to see how people lived back then, how resistant they were after The Great Depression and to see the world at a relatively simpler time.

ccboobooy 5 pts

I want to see my parents dating in the 70's. It would be a blast.

Specifically, "Back to The Future Part 3".

I want my flying car!

I want to go back to the 80's...because I want to invent the iPhone!

Some time in the future--maybe 2050. I certainly wouldn't want to go back in time. The good old days weren't really that good--it is just nostalgia that makes us think they were. I'll take modern medical advances and modern technology any day. Not to mention modern social advances. I really don't want to go back to wearing a whalebone corset and being confined to Kinder, Küche, Kirche. I would be curious to see what further advances we make in the future.

Bakersdozen 5 pts

I would love to visit the Victorian Era and wear some of those clothes.

I would like to live during Biblical times of the New Testament. I would of loved to witness in first person Jesus.

ladyt64 5 pts

I would love to see how things were before the Civil War and then afterward during reconstruction.

tesashel 5 pts

I think it would be the late 1800's. I'm a country girl at heart and think I would have done well at that time.

willitara 5 pts

Any era had drawbacks and I'm happy with where we are right now so I think I'll stay where I am.

susan1215 5 pts

I'd like to live in the 1950's, it seems like a nice time when families stayed together and Mom stayed home to take care of the children while Dad went off to work. No distractions like TV, computers, cell phones etc. Children need two parents and that's what they got back then. That's my life now but I'm in the minority.

07violet 5 pts

I wouldn't actually want to live in another era but I do like fashion, music and the style in general of several eras

Although I am absolutely addicted to reading historical romance novels based in the 18-19th centuries in England, I think I will leave it to the books. I will stick to the era I was born into. Not only for reasons of medical advances, but also I am glad to be living now because of social, political, and religious freedoms.

happishopr 5 pts

I would love to have lived during the time Jesus walked the earth - how awesome to have been fully in His presence.

MrsWW 5 pts

I would like to live in the Middle Ages, but only if I weren't a peasant or serf.

I think the 60's would be fun everybody was so carefree and easy going.

ewalsh 5 pts

I just think it was an easier time to understand and the rules made sense. Now we're all over the place socially.

dddiva 5 pts

Regardless of the problems I always want to keep moving forward - we keep getting better and better- with technology and other things so most definitely- I love where we are and can't wait to see where we'll go next.

I would like to live in the future I would say about 100 years from now technology and medical and medical advances can only make life better.

tomgibson7 5 pts

The era I would like to be in is the Roman Empire era as long as I was a wealthy Roman. They lived pretty well from what I have read.

Lvpierson 5 pts

If I could choose another time to live in it would have to be the future since I've seen the past and I think the present is the best so far! Now, I know all things aren't better but sorry I enjoy electricity, running water, automobiles, somewhat equality, computers (!), etc. I think I would really love living in the future cause I'm a tech freak, as long as the environment isn't terrible or something since I'm not sure where that's headed....

LuckyTJG 5 pts

I would like to go back in time and live during the 1940's. My dad's brother died at 18 while serving in Germany during WWII. I never got to meet him or my grandfather who died a year earlier. I would also like to know my dad as a teenager and my mom, too. It would be great to spend time with all my loved ones again.

the 40's and 50's when life was so simple.

lisalmg 5 pts

I would like to live for a very short while in the Renaissance era and hopefully see some of the most amazing art during the time it was created.

Taminar 5 pts

And can I weigh the same as I did back then, but know what I know now?

Seriously, every era has their good points and bad points. I wish I had a time machine and could go anywhere that I wanted for a few days. I would definitely go and see one of Shakespeare's plays in London, and then I'd come back home and disinfect myself. It was not a clean time.

Pwag 5 pts

I would want to live in Jim Bridger's time, seeing parts of America before they were spoiled by westward expansion & industrialization.

RazzMyBerry 5 pts

The 40's or the 50's! I'm obsessed with everything about that era. Although the whole sexism thing wouldn't be fun...

jinxy 5 pts

When I was a kid, I always used to tell my mom that when I died and went to heaven I was going to live in the 1950s. I just always loved the music and fashion from that time period and it seems like it was a simple way of life.

mystery250 5 pts

Probably back in medieval times, in some time frame that was peaceful without any wars or crime, where I wouldn't have to worry about the world being in the shape that it is today.

Juleemm2003 5 pts

I would like to live during the California Gold Rush. How exciting that must have been.

zion777 5 pts

Would love to live in the 50's. I would have loved to been a stay at home mom. Too bad that now days it seems to take two income to survive.

1_browneyedgirl 5 pts

Would love to be in the Wild West!
Thanks

bwsmom 5 pts

Even though we as a country certainly had our problems then, overall things were much simpler.

Many thanks!!

LillyLilly 5 pts

I'd choose the gold rush days so I could be a saloon girl in San Francisco or Seattle. ;-)

jjjbennett 5 pts

If you could choose another time to live in, what would it be and why?

I want to visit the US during the 1770's and see the formation of the nation

I'd like to live in the 1930's surrounded by Art Deco.

lone_gun 5 pts

I'm living the perfect era for me! Air conditioning, internet, cable tv, cell phones -- why would I want things to be more difficult! :)

I would have most of the benefit's of this age's quality of life without the dependence on technology.
