The $100 Question: What Fashion Item or Accessory Do You Miss the Most?

I miss wearing tights in the hotter weather, and still try to wear thinner pantyhose with my shorts

I miss the brightly colored Hawaiian shirts that were so popular in the early 80's. They were so casual and comfy and colorful and cute!

The past go, I miss the "grunge look". Unfortunately my wife doesn't let me wear long hair, backwards baseball caps, flannel shirts, Seattle band tee shirts, or torn jeans anymore.

Years ago I spent some time with the Buddhist monks there. At the end of my time there one of the monks gave me an orange necklace made of twine that the monks traditionally wear.

Unfortunately I gave it to a now ex-girlfriend who didn't appreciate it and lost it when she was at the gym.

I had the perfect pair of strappy sandals and one shoe got water damaged somehow when we moved. :(

I left a beautiful ring in a hotel room more than 30 years ago. They claim they never found it (although I knew exactly where I'd left it) and I've never found anything like it.

I loved wearing scrunchies on my hair.

My best friend bought me some really nice gold hoop earrings that i lost somewhere along the way. I really liked those earrings and i wish i never lost them. they had sentimental value!

I miss Palazzo pants....they were soooo comfy!

I had a pair of flats that I would do anything to find again. I wore them almost exclusively for two months in Europe where we were constantly walking. And then when I came home and kept wearing them, having them resoled twice until they finally bit the dust.

They were the most comfortable and the sturdiest shoe I've ever owned.

we liked to wear black and white saddle shoes. They were comfy and fun to wear. Time for a comeback!

Oh, I had a big baggy Arizona Jean Company winter jean jacket. I loved that thing - thought I looked so cool! ;-)

I've never really been into fashion, I wear what I like or what I feel comfortable in...so, don't really miss anything inparticular.

I miss wearing my garnet ring I received for my 16th birthday. I still have it but it's broken and I have never gotten it fixed. Maybe I'll do that soon.

I had a vintage men's beltless trench coat I bought in a thrift shop in the 80's. It was a men's size small & fit beautifully! No idea where I lost it :(

I had a pair of earrings that were one of my first purchases once I was working that I loved. My daughter managed to lose one of the earrings. I was not happy!

I most miss my comfy summer shorts and shirts from way back in elementary school

They were so comfy and fluffy and they came in so many cool colors and patterns. I always loved wearing them while jumping around to music with my friends. We loved Olivia Newton John.

The only time in my life I've owned pearls was a little girl's necklace I got when I was a 5 year old flower girl.

It's too small now, but boy I loved to wear that ALL the time!

I can't find navy blue nylons any more. I like navy blue as a clothing color, and I think the nylons look nice with, say, a navy blue dress. But apparently they have stopped making them--can't find them anywhere.

I had this fantastic black dress with a very high slit when I was in college. I think it disappeared into the closet of one of my sorority sisters. It's a hazard of living with so many girls.

I miss my size 6 clothing--all of it!!! Yes, I know size 6 clothing still exists, but they've been out of my closet for about 8 years now. :(

I miss my turquoise ring that my granddad gave me on my 16th birthday. I just recently moved and lost it somehow.

Not much of a fashion person, but I do miss the music.

I miss being able to wear glitter. Its always in, but not for a mom in her 30s. Sigh.

I used to really love my old fashioned bell bottom jeans.

I had the coolest pair of white go-go boots with embroidered butterflies down the outsides (1972). I don't miss the hot pants that went with them. Thanks for the contest.

I had this navy blue cotton jersey that was so comfortable but it didn't fit once I lost weight.

I remember patch pocket pants from my Junior High Days. Wish I stil had them!

Oh, my lovely bright pink and lime green painter shirts. They were beautiful and so comfortable.

When I was in high school, my mom bought me a grey and white pearl necklace, and it got stolen in a burglary soon after.

A few years ago, I started developing a nerve problem in my toes. It makes walking in pretty shoes excruciating. Even some flats will aggravate the condition. Wider width shoes help, but not many pretty shoes come in 4E.

I had almost as many scrunchies as I had shirts when I was in middle school! I wouldn't dare put one in my hair nowadays though... :)

I was a headbanger in the 80's and had the coolest pleather mini skirt. It was black and fit like a dream. Would wear it with my zebra and leopard print crop tops. Sigh...
Pleather falls apart after a few years so it's been in trash heaven for a while.
