I am not sure i could have graduated college without spell check! but my work doesn't require too much stuff on the computer, so I guess I wouldn't be that different.

donnak4 5 pts

I would be much less informed.

PauleyD 5 pts

is that I couldn't keep in touch as often with old acquaintances.

I have lived without the Internet for 4 weeks last year when I was overseas.

I was absolutely fine!

Bakersdozen 5 pts

I shop, read the news, get some of my entertainment, and converse with friends on the internet right now. I would have more time for other things, though.

Ig 5 pts

I'd get a LOT more reading done! Not sure what else I'd find to occupy my time.

Thanks for the giveaway >^..^<

sl1038 5 pts

I would be lost without the internet! I am always entertaining myself on here.

hbbs55 5 pts

I would have a lot of free time, I would be visiting the library weekly to do research and probably see more of my friends because I would be out and about more.

07violet 5 pts

I don't know but definitely not the same. I've met people, traveled, bought things I could never find where I live, sold things I couldn't sell here, learned things and prevented a lot of boredom.

Atreau 5 pts

It certainly wouldn't be as interesting! The internet had lead to some fascinating opportunities that wouldn't have taken place otherwise. Also I have amazing friendships by being online!

willitara 5 pts

I spend way too much time online. Without it I probably would have a real life again.

nanjhall 5 pts

It would make some things easier and some harder. It has allowed me to work for myself from home, keep in touch easier and shop online since I hate malls. On the other, I think we have gotten to the point of information overload and are too distracted and dependent on the internet.

latishajean 5 pts

Life without the internet would be hard now because I love to go to book blogs and read reviews. I have found so many great sites that I enjoy visiting.I would have alot of extra time without it, I so love my internet :)

susan1215 5 pts

I use the internet to sell stuff so if there was no internet I probably need to get a job.

ladyt64 5 pts

I know that I would get more housework done if I didn't have the internet. The housework does get done but whenever there is time.

barbarawr 5 pts

I would be lost without the Internet. I wouldn't have my favorite hobby - digitizing for my embroidery machine, I wouldn't be in contact with MANY people who I'd lost over the years because it's hard to keep in touch with Christmas cards alone... and I'm not even sure what I'd do all day long if I couldn't check emails or comparison shop or research whatever the latest thing is that my kids are going to need homework help with.

skalobster11 5 pts

I wouldn't have so much information at my fingertips, but I'd also spend more quality time with friends and family.

scarter305 5 pts

My life would be less full. I would not have reconnected with some friends. Sometimes I think it would be simpler though.

trippyjanet 5 pts

I would not be able to further my education and work full time..

mizztara71 5 pts

My life would be so boring. I talk to a majority of my friends and family online.

clc408 5 pts

I would have to find a new way to spend my time. I spend a lot of time reading and playing games on the internet, as well as staying in touch with my friends and family.

wigraupel 5 pts

i would spend a lot more on mail thats for sure. i have family oversees and having to mail pictures insteadt of emailing, what a pain

tomgibson7 5 pts

My life without the internet would be rather boring.

idahomom 5 pts

I would be moving and shaking if I wasn't glued to the computer.

sherwalk 5 pts

My Life without the internet would turned upside down!! I would have never had the last job that I had, which in turn would have meant that I would not be driving the two vehicles that I have ... I definitely dont think that I would have the knowledge of some of things that I do ... I would not be able to keep in touch in with my daughter and granddaughters, I would not be a shop-a-holic, and last but not least...my house would be spotless!!

mommyto 5 pts

I would stay bored out of mind. lol When I'm not helping out at the school then I'm pretty much on the net. If there was no internet I would have to watch daytime tv and who wants to do that?

marilynrob 5 pts

my life would suck without the internet. no news, no music, no quick information. I hate it when I don't have internet access when traveling so I know I would be completely idle without it.

tutugirl 5 pts

I would be at the library constantly looking things up. Would also go broke having to print out pictures to send to everyone.

Lvpierson 5 pts

Well, I basically live online, spending at least a few hours a day on the computer....Sometimes I'm doing what I want but I also pay bills, buy my kids clothing, put movies in my que, research anything I'm going to buy, download music, watch tv shows I've missed, etc....I find that I do everything I used to do but it's done better since because it's online..I would however have more free time to do things with 'people' and go places like 'the park' :P

scoopster 5 pts

It would be as if I was stuck in a sensory deprivation tank.

flared0ne 5 pts

Do you remember what YOUR life was like before you learned how to read?? I do... And that life was flat, dull, grey, monotonous, limited, static, unresponsive, mundane, shallow, boring... (And that's before I access the online thesaurus).

poolpooli 5 pts

It would be peaceful and laid back I would hope like the good old days

shopgurl 5 pts

I would have more time on my hands, and would be better connected to people.

rosiejan 5 pts

My dad died in 1970-he was working at a computer school & computers were very new then. he worked in a huge room that fit ---THREE computers. haha they were so huge. Whenever I think of what my life would be like without the internet, I compare it to what computers were like when he was here & how amazing it is how far we've come in 40 years. He would be so amazed if he could see what it's like now. sammiejanL40 at aol dot com

rosiejan 5 pts

I keep in touch with my family in Spain through Email and IM - otherwise, it'd be weeks till a letter would reach them via snail mail! sammiejanL40 at aol dot com

rosiejan 5 pts

I use the internet for so many things! I work online, so that's the major thing, of course, but I use it for everything! Checking weather, shopping, any info I need always at my fingertips, I can think of thousands of things funny how you don't really think about it till asked! sammiejanL40 at aol dot com

slehan 5 pts

I enter contests and win things to give as presents to my family & friends. It's my hobby and would not be nearly as good without the internet.

lisa52205play 5 pts

i would be reading a lot more books

Jessilyn82 5 pts

It would be much harder for me to make friends and meet new people, to discover great deals, coupons and sales, to locate new information quickly and easily, and to find new ideas for stuff to do. It would also be much harder to keep in touch with friends and family, and I wouldn't be able to enter sweepstakes anymore-it's a hobby that I love!

shel772 5 pts

The internet has become somewhat addicting. If I were not on it I would be reading and exercising more.

shiloh19 5 pts

My life would be less busy, and probably more productive.

htalfor 5 pts

I cant imagine. I would definitely have more time on my hands. I couldn't be able to contact those long lost relatives or friends with in seconds.

godan 5 pts

a lot more physical and a lot more boring

jinxy 5 pts

I think it would be much more laid back and relaxed.

MnemosynesCall 5 pts

I'm a classical voice student and I rely heavily on the internet for access to opera and recital clips from professionals. While my school does have a music library, we're not allowed to take materials home, and it can't compete with the sheer volume of information available on the web.

NancyeDavis 5 pts

Life would be a lot harder without the Internet! Anything you could want to learn about is just one click away. I remember back in high school and undergrad in college, research papers were a pain. Stacks of books or buried in the microfish (sp?) Paying for copies of imfo you found, remembering to document sources (after the book has been turned in). I hated it!! When I was in Grad school everything was MUCH easier with the Internet!! I have met lots of cool people from all over the world and I have connected with lots of people from the past. I would hate not having the internet!!

Considering I run my business online, I would be broke. Thank you for the great question!

ewalsh 5 pts

life without the internet. I socialize there. find answers to questions, read the news, find recipes.

There would be a big gaping hole left where it used to be.

mickeyfan 5 pts

But my house might be cleaner. Tho I wouldn't keep in touch with my 20-something kids as easiliy either. And I"d have to find new access to information that I now have at my fingertips. And my carpal tunnel issues wouldn't be so bad. TRADEOFFS!

scg00387 5 pts

If just I didn't have the Internet or if it didn't exist?? Two different things! Either way, I'd read books a lot more. And probably cook less!
