The $100 Question: What Is Your Favorite Thing to Do with Your Farmer's Market Finds?

Goat cheese products!!

It's a tie for my two favorites: homemade pico de gallo (cilantro, roma tomatoes, white onion, jalepeno from the market) or my twist on the roasted vegetable sandwich (eggplant, zucchini, tomato, red onion and kale from the market).

Today's the farmers market in Minneapolis...I even put up a blog about it today! (I resisted the zucchini horde!!) :)

Fresh Fruit for dessert! Apples, peaches, pears, berries, oh my!

I haven't been to a farmer's market in a while, but I do love fresh fruit and vegetables. This year has not been a good one, and we haven't been out to visit our Amish neighbors this summer. I really like the homemade jellies and jams that they make.

I forget my favorite, which is sweet corn! I love cooking it on the grill then brushing it with a little bit of butter and salt.

I eat them all of course! I love fresh fruits and veggies, bread, cheeses and more. It's great to support local businesses.

I love trying new recipes with veggies from the Framer's Market. Last year there was one vendor who was offering red, yellow, orange, and green bell peppers for a whole plastic Walmart-type bag full for only $5.00. There were 20 assorted colors of peppers in my bag and to use all of them up I tried all kinds of new, fun recipes!

I make some really tasty lunches and cut up the fruit I get and make nice fruit salads to bring to work.

I love shopping at Farmer's Markets! I always stock up on what ever is in season and fill my freezer!

I make salads for lunch and the rest we usually grill or I will make stir-fry.

I like to bake seasonal desserts with my Farmer's Market fruits and veggies. Strawberries are my favorite when they are in season because I can whip up a cheescake.

It has been awhile since I have been to a Farmer's Market, but I love bringing the stuff home and preparing it for my large family.

The food I buy at Farmers Markets I like to use in recipes and snacks.

I absolutely love combining all of the different fresh fruits, It not only smells and tastes great,but it looks pretty too. LOL

My favorite finds are the homemade bread and what do I do with it? Heat it up with some butter and eat it!

I love to make a huge wok of stir fry!

I love to find fresh fruits and vegetables and locally grown nuts to chop up in a salad. And usually I can pick up some home made fudge to munch on for dessert.

I have a white color scheme in my living room, so when I see something I like, I always consider painting it white and adding it to a shelf in my living room.

Our best things to do with Farmer's Market finds are: Huge, fancy salads with heirloom/specialty vegetables and herbs and nuts OR beautiful, vibrant multi-colored veggie frittata

I love corn on the cob and tomatoes. I'll eat the tomatoes as is. I stick the corn in the microwave, and husk it when I take it out! Yum!

I love to bake - my house always has some fresh dessert. When I go to the Farmer's Market, I tend to stock up on fresh fruits, and they are usually baked into some delicious muffin or cake.

for our farmer's Market, so we go and get as much fresh fruits and veggies as possible and can it. We also make tons of relishes and salsa from all the things we buy.

I know, I'm lame. Some I like to grill, some put in salads.

Try as I might to grow a garden. Idaho summer's at 5200 ft just are not conducive. I go to the farmer's market regularly. I love to make zucchini bread.

I eat the peaches, apples right out of the bag he brings them home in. Green beans and potatoes I pan fry. Tomatoes we get for sandwiches or just plain.

I just love shopping at the farmer's market. My favorite thing to make is caramelized onion dip with sweet Vidalia onions. Then I cut up all kinds of other fresh produce to dip in it.

My favorite thing to do with farmers market finds is to make a big gigantic green salad and fruit salad, and dig in!

Stuffed peppers and corn on the cob are my favorite things to make.
