Hey there stud muffin.

That’s what I say to my hubby…it doesn’t work either.

Hope you had a good day. Mine was pretty chilaxed.

It snowed in the sun. There’s no other way to say that.

So we played in the mud.

There’s nothing better than being a stay-at-home mom and making bird soup.

(Because if you didn’t know, the birds like to eat mud.)

We homeschooled today and the kids learned some sign language, sentences, drew portraits and discussed eyes colors and some more. (It’s one of my favorite parts of the day!)

When stud muffin got home, I left out the door. The sun was shining, I just couldn’t resist.

My trainer gave out a schedule for the week:

Sunday: Long run

Monday: Off

Tuesday: 25 minute easy run

Wednesday: Track work

Thursday: Off day

Friday: 25 minute intervals

Saturday: Cross-training

I’m pretty sure I’m the slowest one on our team. I mean someone has to be it, so I claim the prize…but I don’t give up that easily. I headed out for 25 minutes of easy running as Coach said to. I did find out that if I stick to a very slow pace of 5.3mph or 11:09, I can keep going without stopping. That in its own is an accomplishment.

I wanted to check my distance on my watch, but I kept it for my final moments reaching my house. Just as I walked to the sidewalk, my phone rang. It was a call I was waiting on, so I had to take it.

My name is on a ballet for a position. If I’m voted in, I will (obviously) let you know. Just keep fingers crossed. This is BIG!

By the time I walked in the house, I lost track of everything. Apparently I did 3 miles. I have no clue on time, how long of that was walking around on the phone etc. Just know I did it.

There was an awesome package waiting for me too.

Yes, those are tampons and other feminine  products and all ORGANIC. I went out with my girlfriend for coffee the other night and we were discussing how many chemicals were in our tampons. It’s good coffee conversation to say the least.

From my friends at, Healthy Child Healthy World

“Tampons are typically made from conventional cotton or a cotton/rayon blend. Cotton is one of the most pesticide-intensive crops in the world, with five of the top nine chemicals typically used classified as possible carcinogens. For it’s part, rayon is made from wood pulp bleached with toxic chlorine, a process that creates dangerous cancer-causing dioxins.”

GROSS! Who needs that?

I like Organyc products because they are 100% organic cotton, hypoallergenic, biodegradable, skin PH balanced, free of bleach and perfumes.

They are sold all over the world so be sure to check them out!

Sorry – but I had to tell you. I wouldn’t be a good friend if I didn’t!

Disclosure: I did receive an awesome package of tampons, pads, liners, cotton make up removers, but I really do love being green and chemical-free so I wanted to share!

Today is also Anything Goes, #Linky Wednesday. So PARTY with us!
