2014 Interior Design Color Trend: Turquoise

We are all dreaming of warmer weather, and counting the days down for winter to be over.  Are you dreaming of a place that looks similar to this?  A place with turquoise-colored water?  Somewhere in the Caribbean?

Turquoise is an enchanting blue-green color that is a must have for 2014!  And it's no surprise that it has continued to be a color trend in the interior design community--stretching from 2013 to 2014.   Also, did you know that turquoise is known to heighten creativity?  No wonder we love the color!  Creative minds gravitating towards a creative color.

Turquoise is a friendly and happy color that energizes and recharges your spirit.  While it has a lot of energy it can also be a soothing, calming color.  It is known to help sooth the soul during times of high stress.  If the bright and bold is over stimulating for your palette, choose a more muted tone of this gorgeous color--creating a soothing, calm space.   Will you use this color in your home?  Do you find you prefer the bold tones of turquoise or the muted tones?
