Christine Mellor' book, The Three Martini Playdate has been a pretty popular book around here (Houston) lately. It has really gotten me thinking about mothers and alcohol. In an age where:
1 - women are having children later in life
2 - women's lives are more fast paced and stressful
3 - wine cellers have been installed and stocked pre-baby
4 - medicine and media are touting the benefits of drinking red wine daily
Can martinis and motherhood really mix?
