3 Steps to a Perfectly Boiled Egg

How many of you can stand up to the challenge of making a perfectly boiled egg? Sounds stupid, or does it pinch an aching nerve?? Though most of us include boiled eggs in our diet, and eat them day in and day out, not many of us know the technique to boiling an egg the right way.
Whether you like it soft-boiled, medium-boiled or hard-boiled, there are only 3 things to remember to get this process right:
1. Amount of Water - The water level should be at least 1 inch above the eggs, once you put them in the bowl
2. Use medium heat only - Once the water starts to boil, reduce the heat and use medium-flame only to boil the egg; high heat will make your egg rubbery.
o - this is the most critical factor, you can't boil your egg for 5 minutes if you want a soft-boiled egg, nor can you expect a perfect hard-boiled egg to be done in 6 minutes!
