3 Things I Like in Social Media This Week

Changes occur so frequently in social media. It's overwhelming at times, right? A new app, a new (and mandatory) change on Facebook, Twitter has a "bug" or a new dashboard to automate and track metrics. Oy...so many updates that come through the pipeline. So many on a weekly basis too.

I want to make this easier for you, I would love to share my top three social media finds and/or interests each week in a "3 Things I Like in Social Media This Week" feature. I hope you enjoy it and find it valuable.

1. Facebook Cover Photo Contest - Facebook wants to host your brand on its Facebook Marketing Solutions Page. Imagine the exposure your brand will receive! The deadline to submit is April 6

2. HuffPost Women's weekly series, "Best Tweets: What Women Said on Twitter this Week" - "Do they make Cadbury creme egg whites? Watching my figure." by @mollytarlov. I am amused by the tweets that get featured here!

3. Cookbook Cafe - Babette from BakeSpace if giving food bloggers, epicurean dabblers, nonprofits and frankly anyone the opportunity to create and publish virtual cookbooks. Even though this isn't the first of its kind, I wanted to highlight this app because many of the cookbooks in Cookbook Cafe support nonprofit organizations through crowd-sourced cookbooks for fundraising.
