3 Ways to Get Your Kids Outside
by Green Hour

Welcome to my Green Hour blog! I'm working on a project by the National Wildlife Federation that aims to help parents get their kids outside for part of an hour every day. Here's what we're about.

Here are three activities you can do with your kids in the backyard or in a neighborhood park:

1. Make a Nature Journal

2. Have a Backyard Scavenger Hunt

3. Make a Bagel Bird Feeder

I'm the online media coordinator and I have to be careful that I get my green hours too, and stop staring at this computer screen! On that note, have a good weekend!

Get Those Kids Outside!

Thanks for the reminder that we need to make sure our kids have some outside time and stay connected with the natural world.
