In my home, I have been working hard on keep our family of four within our stated grocery budget. I have become an excellent grocery shopper by using coupons, as well as taking advantage of sales and rebates. However, there is little help out there for translating your grocery store savings into healthy and frugal meals. I am here to help with that!
I decided to start sharing my ideas of how to make frugal meals with the public. I created a website named $5 Dinners, www.5dollardinners.com I have had a tremendous response to this website since its inception 3 weeks ago. Each night, I write out the ingredients, their costs and the directions for how to make that night’s dinner. I conclude each post with the final cost of the meal.
