Easter treats aren’t just for kids. And though we’re not beyond snagging a chocolate or two from our kids’ Easter baskets, what we really look forward to are treats like Hot Cross Buns and festive holiday cakes. Here are a few recipes from BlogHer’s food bloggers that would brighten up any Easter table.
Hot Cross Buns

Hot Cross Buns are usually eaten on Good Friday (just before Easter), as Gerry from Foodness Gracious explains. His buns go the traditional route, with the cross made from a simple flour and water mixture instead of the more newfangled frosting. After they’re baked, Gerry likes to split them in half and slather them in butter.
