5 Fruity Labor Day Libations

Even if you're not having people over for Labor Day, there's no reason you can't toast to a day off. Some ideas...

1) White Sangria:  It may be officially fall, but you might as well stretch the summer a little longer if you can.  Do it with a summery mix of wine and fruit.   Recipe from Refinery 29.

2) Blueberry Infused Vodka Lemonade.  Made with fresh blueberries in a mason jar. Yum! Check out the recipe at keepitsimplefoods.com

3) Watermelon Keg.  Yes this isn't as easy as putting some ingredients in a jar, but who isn't going to be impressed with a keg crafted from fruit. Want to know how?

4)  Strawberry Margarita Popsicles: I love this recipe because it's very easy.  Sometimes it's tricky to get alcohol to freeze and if you're not super careful you wind up with a sort of slushy concoction which still tastes great but isn't what you're after in a popsicle.

"No recipe, just an easy entertaining idea that requires some Dixie cups, popsicles sticks and Mike’s Hard Lemonade Strawberry Margarita. As a side note, the traditional margarita made with Tequila needs a much colder temperature to freeze than the traditional home unit allows, so that’s why something like these Mike’s Hard Lemonade is better suited for making these popsicles."  Check out bakersroyale.com for the recipe.

5) Strawberry Margarita Jello Shooters: Here's another option if you like strawberries.  Serve the drink (in this case, the jello) inside the carved out strawberry.   Get instructions and the recipe from the always inspired bakersroyale.com
