Guess what? For the first time in Olympic history, there are more women than men on the U.S. Olympic team. Here are some of the women to watch in the 2012 London Games this summer.
The U.S. team's oldest woman, Karen O'Connor, is competing in equestrian at 54. We love her!
Fifteen-year-old swimmer Katie Ledecky is our youngest female Olympic athlete.
112-pound boxer Marlen Esparza became the first female boxer to represent the USA at the Olympics. A well deserved break!
Poetry-loving speedster Me'Lisa Barber is sure to set the field on fire this year.
Do you have a favorite female Olympian?
