It's that time of year: It's gross outside. There's new stuff on TV. The New Year's resolution high has worn off. If you need inspiration sticking to a new regimen, or just want some excellent fitness and nutrition finds and workout ideas -- follow these blogs to keep your heart rate up.
The Great Fitness Experiment
Just like her blog's title implies, Charlotte Hilton Andersen tries out workouts she reads about in magazines and gives you the full story on whether and how they work -- she even wrote a book about it. Her blog is also very funny about everyday health issues (public toilets, weirdo gym ads) -- but she also writes seriously about eating disorders and violence against women.

Keep It SimpElle
Elle's a personal trainer, and Keep It SimpElle is a nice mix of her own personal challenges (no alcohol or a month, 21 days of yoga), healthy recipes, and drill packs to work all parts of your body until they hurt so good.
Gina is a fitness teacher, military wife, mom, and a long-term weight loss success story -- so Fitnessista is packed full of healthy options and quick workouts for people on the go, just like she is.

Sweat Once a Day
If you're a distance runner, you might already know of "Sweaty Emily" and Sweat Once a Day, her blog about running and race training (you know she's serious when you see her posted personal records for half marathon, marathon, 50k, and 50 miles. She's honest about the ups and downs and helpfully descriptive about her experiences.

Meal plans, workout calendars, videos, inspirational "before and after" stories from readers: Cassey's "beast mode" Pilates-focused blog/fitness concept, Blogilates, has got it all.
At Healthy Ashley, we not only follow Ashley's fitness goals through her training -- we also see her personal life, from her vegetarian diet and love of animals to her recovery from a bad bike crash to the present day: She's running while pregnant with her first child.
