Hi- good post. Just some thoughts from the other side of the aisle ;)
I didn't think Tammy Bruce was a liberal anymore. After NOW stupidly booted her out of Los Angeles NOW she switched sides and became a conservative and makes her money bashing liberals.
And for the record...us liberals aren't too sweet on the mainstream media either. In fact, although we hate to admit it, it's one thing the left and the right have in common.
Also, had a liberal talked about poisoning a SCOTUS justice (say, Scalia), even in jest (as if that's funny), do you think the media wouldn't be playing it 24/7? Sure, it got some coverage but had Michael Moore said it it would have been breaking news.
I give Ridenour lots of credit for saying what needed to be said. Both the left and the right have sqeeky wheels that are really in it for their own publicity and lining their pockets and selling books to the extremes of their party. I mean, Ann Coulter recruits guys to conservativism? Really? Because she has long legs? How dedicated can they be? I wouldn't want them watching my back in a fight.
And correct me if I am wrong, but that keeper photo of Cindy Sheehan includes her standing with a democratically elected leader of a South American nation, correct? The fact that we don't like him much, notwithstanding. And the real issue is he has oil he doesn't want to sell us- lets just come right out and say it. And I do think that is what it's about. But isn't the essence of capitalism supply and demand? Venezuela has supply and they have found other nations with a demand.
But that's the thing about democracy- sometimes people use their democratic freedoms to elect people the US doesn't like. So, it's a double-edged sword.
