About the BlogHer Book Club

I love that this is on here. I've been feeling very nostalgic about books lately...has anyone else been feeling like this:

Reading is a passion of mine, so this looks exciting.

I'd love to get involved as a reviewer. And, since I am a Penguin author, may I submit my book, 'The Power of Receiving: A Revolutionary Approach to Giving Yourself the Life You Want and Deserve' for consideration?

Love that comparison. I tend to have two books on the go most of the time. Usually one upstairs, one downstairs. I usually bounce back and forth between fiction and non-fiction too.

Well, not so much the scheduling as much as when I read a book I want to talk about it right then, not have to wait until book club day. Online people can go at their own pace. :)

However my husband has an issue with buying CDs (yes, he still buys CDs) so it evens everything out. ;-)

Excellent way to describe a relationship with books. Some of my relationships with books definitely fall into the tawdry one-night stand department though. ;-)

What writer doesn't love to read?

My husband jokes that I go through books like popcorn, always reading at least 2 at at time. One on the nightstand, one in the car.

Count me in, please! I'll watch BlogHer for updates.

I think this is an awesome program! I don't have time to join a traditional book club due to working full time and being a single mother, but BlogHer's club is perfect!

Mixing two of my favorite passions, blogging and reading, is the best thing since mixing chocolate with peanut better. (And that's saying something!)

I would be interested in reviewing books. I am a Canadian (but born in Latin America) and would I love to give you a unique perspective. I belonged to the same book club for over 10 years and have joined a new one last year. I love books: reading them, talking about them, reviewing them. Please let me know how I can get involved.

I would love to be involved in this. I have been having a long, long love affair with books.

As an English major in college I loved reading books and dissecting them and searching for themes, meanings and character development. Book reviews would be right up my alley.
