As above, so below

 As a little girl, I remember eagerly seeking out the bright, white fullness of the moon as it filled the night sky. It held an air of mystery, which mesmerized me.  But at the same time, it brought on feelings of loss and disappointment when it waned and receded back into darkness.

Even though I wasn’t consciously aware of it at the time, the moon was teaching me one of the most powerful of life lessons – the cycles of birth, growth, death and rebirth.

 In recent years, I have paid closer attention to the parallels between the cycles of the moon and the cycles within me – in my monthly feminine cycles, in my moods and experiences, and even in my relationship with my husband. ...Continue
