~There is absolutely no wavering on this unequivocal fact: Adam Lambert gives good headline.
The striking shock rocker’s performance at the AMA’s left audiences gasping, insulted, shocked, pissin’ their pants…And several, might have had colossal grins across their faces.
Here’s the scenario, kids:
Lambert yanked a female backup dancer across the stage by her leg as if she were his bitch; he fondled and caressed male dancers (who apparently were browbeaten dogs) on tight leashes, and he heaved a male dancer into his crotch simulating oral sex…but the bombshell happened when he ravenously sucked face with the male keyboard player.
Oh, Adam, you are a VERRRRY naughty boy!

I agree. Too much. Too far. Etc...Etc...Etc...
It appeared as if Lambert was trying to make a statement, stun people, sell a record -- “Oh, yeah, I’m DIRTY, I’m GAY, and I’m gonna stick it directly in your face, Suckah!”
None of it felt genuine or Lamberty or sincere. It was sort of like he fell out of his own body into Madonna’s. I was waiting for some freaking Vouge moves or something.
And he is probably quite accurate when he told a reporter- “Those who object are engaging in "a form of discrimination and a double standard," considering that for decades, "women performers have been pushing the envelope."
I have a confession to make: Ummmm, I am one of those discriminators.
I wanted to hear Adam sing his gorgeous lungs out. I wanted his vocals to wrap entirely around my body as they did with Mad World, Beth, and Whole Lotta Love. I wanted him to gaze into the camera with those leopard lined eyes, curved Elvis lips, and make love to ME, kiss ME, serenade ME.
That’s what I wanted.
But that playful, sexy, American- Idol Adam was already gone.

And what remained was an Unauthentic Madonna performance, a bit of forced masturbation, and some cheap masochistic pornography.
After all of the anticipation awaiting Lambert's brilliance, I was left scratching my head, exclaiming "What the hell, I missed Criminal Minds for this!"
