Adult interation

It all started with that moment of staring at my child saying "well kid, its just you and I this year." As my fiance is deployed, I am lucky enough to stay home this year with him. Coming from a social lifestyle to staying home with our son I realize how important "adult interaction" is in general. You stay at home mom's know what I'm talking about.

I find myself calling almost everyone I know some days just to talk about something other than a smelly diaper to what color this block is. Looking for a legitimate conversation about anything from the recent election to living vicariously through them about their dating mishaps. Although funny in some cases, I truly am blessed to be where I am at, but man, I even find myself talking to the barista at Starbucks and thinking "man she must really think I am crazy." due to the fact that I cracked a joke only I found funny.

Either way, if you are reading this and you are excited to be a stay at home mom, please, please, please do yourself a favor MAKE FRIENDS! Especially friends who have kids that live close to you, that way you aren't going crazy by death of bottles and baby toys that constantly go off at the bottom of the toy box. Make sure they are close to you, because we all know, that you want your body back, and even the alone time can be good for your soul.

Good luck my fellow stay at home mommas!
