All about forgiving

Good Morning to all .

In Matthew 18:22 to 35 Jesus tells us about the parable of the king who required settlement of debt from his servants. The one servant owed him a lot of money but could not pay.

When the King wished to sell him and his family as servants in order that he could regain the money owed to him, the servant begged and pleaded with him to show mercy. The king was moved and forgave the servant his debts.

The servant went out and found a fellow servant who owed him a small amount of money. He demanded repayment of the debt but the fellow servant could not repay. The servant then cast his fellow servant into prison till the debt be repayed.

The king then found out about this and immediately delivered the servant to the torturers until such time as he repayed all the money he owed to the King.

This parable is not really about money although it can also refer to money. It is all about forgiving.

God sent His Son Jesus to the earth to pay for your sins, that you may be released from the debt of sin in your life.
He forgave you much. In return you have to forgive your brothers and sisters of the small sins that they have committed against you. Failure to do so will result in God having to retract the forgiveness that He gave to you!

Matthew 18:35 "So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses."

I pray today that you will search your heart and forgive all those that have wronged you, that you forgive them their wrongs against you, that all may be well in your lives.

God Bless
