Yesterday, a neighbor stopped by my house to deliver some coffee. (It was my birthday!). We got to talking about mykidsupport.com and its audience - the parents of children with ongoing or intermittent educational needs. "The phraseology is a bit of a mouthful," I confessed. "But most kids defy labels." My neighbor agreed. Therein lies the challenge for the parents of so many children. I personally ascribe largely to the philosophy of Mel Levine (a philosophy that I feel should be undiminished by recent allegations). The non-profit he founded, All Kinds of Minds, describes that philosophy.
