It’s taken some time to get back into the swing of things lately. I’ve been trying to delay my return to the day to day routine. But yesterday was the first day of school so that meant all my vacation blues had to finally be laid to rest whether I liked it or not!
So what’s new with me? Well, I’ll be turning 31 in about 2 weeks and I’ve come to terms with it… I think. I haven’t worked out since before we left for Hawaii and I’m starting to feel the effects. 
My favorite photographer in the entire world has just embarked on a new journey which I am very happy to be a tiny part of: she’s doing boudoir photography now! I had my sights on this type of photography when I saw it 2 years ago. But it was incredibly expensive. I guess due to the recession she has offered a 50% discount and I jumped on it! Now I’m excited but extremely nervous.
She does a phenomenal job and I can’t wait. She even has hair and makeup lined up for me (for a fee, of course). But it’s the same hair and makeup person that works with Annie Leibovitz so I’m crazy psyched. We shall see. I’ll share the experience once I’m done so stay tuned!
So, I’m off to go shed some more pounds on the treadmill… wish me luck!
