AMERICAN TV COMMERCIALS : WACKY OR CONFUSING?

Viewing commercials when I was a Communication Arts student in college was sort of a "personal study tool" for me. I was  very interested in Advertising and Public Relations so I made sure I watch TV commercials as much as possible. Soon after college, I had two first jobs; a part-time Advertising Communications teacher to college students and a full-time advertising copywriter. Armed with the skills I studiously acquired from college, and a passion to create  knock-your-socks-off commercials, I was ready with my new career full blast. But even then, TV commercial-watching was still my "study tool" an essential discipline for me before making an advertising  copy for clients. I had to study the client's competitors by watching their TV commercials, print ads, and other marketing collaterals. That was my strategy to wow the clients and my boss.

Anyway, now that I'm far off  from that grind of the advertising industry, and with a domesticated life, TV watching is now a leisure activity. Though I'm not a heavy-commercial-watcher anymore, I do unconsciously "analyze" commercials. Blame it on years and years of that TV-fare daily-routine.; it's inevitable. And my observations on American advertising are summarized as follows; offbeat, wacky, hilarious, and even peculiar.

Here is one of my favorite American commercials....TO READ MORE AND VIEW THE COMMERCIALS, PLEASE CLICK THIS-->AMERICAN TV COMMERCIALS: WACKY OR CONFUSING
