[Editor's Note: At some point we all have to grow up.  I didn't like it either, but Amy?  Time to bid farewell to neverland, kid.  --Morgan]

Things just never change with 27-year old singer Amy Winehouse.  After she made an   announcement about her 12-date European comeback tour many speculated whether or not she could pull it off.  The answer is no!

After a recent mess of a show was called”the worst in the history of Belgrade.”   Amy is calling it quits again.

She’s been in and out a rehab obviously has once again failed.  She appeared late a her last concert in Belgrade.  She was greeted with a very unhappy crowd of 20,000.  She staggered on stage obviously under the influence.  Dropped her microphone, walked off the stage, called it quits.

You absolutely right. That was a foolish crack on my part, because I certainly realize that Amy is a very sick woman.

Apologies to anyone I offended or belittled, it was thoughtless and not my intention.

Addictions aren't just a matter of growing up, there are things are work that make it very difficult to overcome.

When I see a story, as I did today, that Lindsay Lohan is at risk of violating for having a drink at home when they well know she has an addiction, well... not only do I seriously feel their pain, we approach the issue arse backwards. Enough with punishments and put downs and the like, and time to put in place comprehensive means to assist, educate, and make well.

For every celebrity there are thousands of anonymous people facing the same issues, and while I may not know of them or know them, I root for them. Those we do know, the Amy Winehouses, the Lindsay Lohans, Charlie Sheens, Robert Downey's, etc... maybe if we start thinking of them as human, as like us save for the public fishbowl they live in (and which complicates the hell out of their situation) we might start realising how society, particularly American society needs to take a different approach to the issue of addiction and struggles with personal issues.
