"and Ive got all my sistas with me..." #NaBloPoMo

All my friends

That line was from a song called "Ladies Night", a group of rappers  singing on a track about having a good time along with their friends and working together.  I was working on a project recently that was quiet successful with a group of women from Pushing Lovely a group of blogging women who are working to better themselves as writers.

So lemme share what we worked on.  There were 6 of us, each with our own style of writing.  Our group included:

And we decided that we would hold a $100 giveaway for our readers.  We pushed each other via Twitter, G+, our newsletters, etc to get the word out about what we were doing and it was quite successful.  As a matter of fact, congrats to our winner PushingLovely MargsWorld.com Now keep in mind that I have worked on other projects like this one before, much larger, with several other different blogger groups.  What made this different was the fact that the women of Pushing Lovely wanted to make sure that we all did well on this project.  All supportive.  All helpful.  And it comes from a genuine place of support and love. You know how you always hear about how women can't work together?  How we are always catty toward one another?  Not in this group. Not with these women.  I'm in awe of what we have been able to accomplish and I'm grateful to have stumbled upon them. These are some of the best blogging girlfriends to have.
