Announcing another BlogHer "First": The First BlogHer PhotoWalk, brought to you by Shutter Sisters

Calling all photo enthusiasts!

Grab your cameras and put on your walking shoes, it’s time for BlogHer’s first ever PhotoWalk, brought to you by the Shutter Sisters, and taking place immediately following the BlogHer '08 Photography session on Saturday afternoon, July 19th, from 3:15-4:30PM. If interested, just meet outside the meeting room where the Photography session concludes at 3PM on Saturday.

Tracey Clark, Karen Walrond, Andrea Scher, Jen Lemen and Stephanie Roberts (some of the snap happy women behind the collaborative photo blog Shutter Sisters) will be leading the group on a photo excursion around San Francisco’s picturesque Union Square. Stretch your legs and your creativity as we walk, talk and share our passion for photography. If you plan on joining us on our adventure please leave a comment on this post.

Once you're outside the conference area...

Hey Viv: If you arrange to meet your spouse somewhere outside the conference area, then it's really not with our purview. No one with a cocktail party pass will be able to get past the registration desk either before or after the PhotoWalk, but we're not controlling who lurks about the lobby ;)

Those Shutter Sisters... they're fabulous. I adore them and appreciate that they're putting something like this together.

I wanted to do the same thing on Sunday and was hoping to find buddies to walk with me. But on Saturday afternoon I have to been in the Boomers and Beyond Birds of a Feather meetup. Waaaaaaa

There will be many, many people who decide to attend the panels that are being held during this photo walk so don't give up hope on organizing one of your own for Sunday. I bet you'll find some photo walk buddies to join you. Maybe even me - depending on my flight schedule.
