Announcing: BlogHer '12 HealthMinder Day Programming!

BlogHer Original Post

Back in February, Elisa introduced HealthMinder Day, a brand-new, pre-conference add-on opportunity for BlogHer '12 attendees:

The day will focus on expert information and looking at the latest tools, services, sources, and products for taking care of yourself and your loved ones. And for sharing with your online communities.

The day is a stand-alone, so you purchase a ticket separately from your BlogHer '12 registration (here).

HealthMinder Day

Health and wellness -- including care of self and care of others -- are matters of huge interest to BlogHer community members. As Elisa noted in that introductory post, well over half of you read health and wellness blogs; you give advice about health, you're curious about new information and products, and you build community around your struggles and triumphs. Today we're rolling out the agenda for this day fine-tuned to your well-being and the well-being of those you love.

Three concurrent tracks will run and, as with the main conference, you can dip in and out of any of them as you prefer: Fitness & Nutrition, Special Needs & Caregiving, and Self-Care & Social Health. We especially want to thank the top-flight group of committee members (named in the intro post) who helped us shape the program you'll find here at the HealthMinder Day agenda.

The breakout sessions are divided into three themes: in the morning, we'll look at Boundary Basics: The Costs and Benefits of Transparency; in the afternoon we'll focus on Expert Help and explore The Mind-Body Connection. At lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to sit at "Birds of a Feather" affinity-group tables to aid and abet deep networking. Have a look at the panels, listed here by track:

Special Needs & Caregiving:

Fitness & Nutrition:

Self-Care & Social Health:

Check back often to see the speakers who'll be added to these panel descriptions in the coming days and weeks.

Ready to spend the day before BlogHer '12 giving yourself something incredible? Because we're ready to dish it out. Spaces are still available, but they're limited, so register today!

Yours,

Polly
