Announcing the Pathfinder Day '13 Keynote Speakers
Last week, we introduced the Pathfinders for Pathfinder Day '13, and this week we are very excited to announce the keynote speakers for this limited capacity day! (Grab your ticket here while they're still available.)
Pathfinder Day seeks to help bloggers answer the question, Where do I go from here? Over the course of the day, an intimate group of bloggers will explore one of four unique paths, each pointed towards a common goal -- using your blog to achieve something more.
The keynote speakers at this year's Pathfinder Day know a thing or two about doing more.
Welcome Keynote: Maria Ross, branding consultant and author of "Rebooting My Brain"
Maria Ross was a brand strategist living life at what she calls "a relentless pace" until a freak brain aneurysm nearly brought her career -- and life -- to a screeching halt. Maria will open Pathfinder Day by sharing the heart-stopping story of her brain injury, her road to recovery, and how that unexpected life detour led her to understand her personal mojo, sharpen her personal goals, and ultimately unleash her entrepreneurial spirit. Along the way, Pathfinder Day attendees will extract her lessons and apply those lessons to learning how to focus in on their own core personal brand, and amplify it outward.
Lunch Keynote: Which Came First: Doing Good or Feeling Good?
Do you build satisfaction in your life from the outside in, or the inside out? Do you need to work on valuing yourself in order to bring value to the world? Or does doing good in the world lead you to feel good? Yes to all of the above? Bryant Terry and Nataly Kogan are working from the inside out and outside in, building authentic satisfying lives and livelihoods that they hope also improve the world around them. On paper, they appear to be very different -- Bryant is a chef, author, and food justice activist; Nataly a serial entrepreneur, app developer and happiness evangelist. What they have in common is a simple, life-changing notion: Doing good and feeling good are intertwined and inter-dependent. During their lunch keynote, they'll show attendees how to put themselves on a path to more personal satisfaction and social impact.
We're so excited to include these three keynote speakers in the stellar line-up of Pathfinders at Pathfinder Day '13, on July 25th in Chicago. Tickets are going fast for Pathfinder Day -- reserve yours here. We can't wait to see you there!
