The holidays are upon us. No, really, they are. Halloween just ended, and that means it's time to talk holiday fun! BlogHer will kick off the month of December with a meet-up on each coast near each BlogHer office. This year, we'll also do a food drive at each meet-up, so we can help spread the cheer.
Join us on Thursday December 3rd from 6-9PM for the following gatherings. BlogHer meet-ups are open and free to all, but capacity is capped, so we've set up sites for you to RSVP and let us know you'll be there.:

We will serve hors d'ouevres and dessert in both locations. We will also collect donations for local food banks in each location:
In San Francisco, we are working with the San Francisco Food Bank, who knows us well from the 676 pounds of food we donated after BlogHer Food '09. They have provided this handy list of desired donations. [PDF]
In New York, we are working with the Food Bank for New York City. They have also provided a list of Most-Needed Foods, and even personal care items they'll collect.
Please note: Neither location will accept items in glass jars or containers.
We hope you are able to join us at our expanded version of an office party next month. We also hope some of the BlogHer Local Groups in other cities may decide to get together on the 3rd as well and incorporate both fun and a food drive too! Please leave a comment below if you end up holding a BlogHer local meet-up for the holidays, and we'll help you get the word out.
