It is four weeks since I started as a full-time nanny. I am so thankful
for being able to have this job and I know God has answered my prayer
for work as well as my employers' prayer for a good caregiver for their
young son. It has been quite an adjustment to work consistent hours.
For me, it is hard to be consistent with most things: blogging,
housework, calling people, etc. Pretty much anything, as a matter of
fact. I'm just now realizing that I'm actually a very random person...
So the switch to full-time nanny has been a challenge. If I won't
change on my own, it seems I'll be forced to change. Does it sound like
I'm complaining? I try not to, and I know with my random personality
being a nanny is really one of the greatest jobs in the world for me.
Another
amazing answer to our prayers: my husband is starting his new job next
week! After many months of searching, interviewing, interviewing AGAIN,
and more applications than we could count, the perfect position has
opened up for him. He will be the inventory manager and delivery person
for a children's home in town. We both feel this is a perfect fit for
him!
I hope to blog again soon, but if it's another four weeks until I do, blame it on my randomness.
