Zoomingo is an app that will make your Black Friday shopping (or any shopping) a bit easier and save you money in the process. This app, available for both iOS and Android, takes a look at local brick and mortar stores for the best prices on many items. There is special emphasis on clothing, home and electronics items.

The app was created to search local stores for the best prices. There are over 80 retailers included in the search. Retailers run the gamut from Nordstom to Walmart. The app goes through weekly ads, and soon Black Friday ads, and reports the best deals to you. Black Friday ad prices will be made available as soon as possible in hopes of getting you to a local brick and mortar store for your holiday shopping.
There's a function that works with Pinterest. The most popular pinned items from Pinterest are researched. If you click a "Watch It" button on something from Pinterest, the app will alert you if there's a price drop in a local mall or shopping center.
In spite of being designed to encourage local shopping, the website for Zoomingo boasts online sales as a option and connects your Pinterest id with the shopping app.
Regular users can earn rewards from local stores – sometimes cash prizes or good deals – that encourage you to do your shopping locally rather than spending your dollars shopping online. Megan Starr gives high praise to this aspect of the app,
another good thing about this app is the raffle!! this app allows you to collect points that are set back to 0 every sunday and if your points put you in the rank 1-50 then you get entered into the raffle to earn cool prizes!!
If your shopping is geared towards things that it helps to touch and feel, or try on, before purchase, Zoomingo on your smart phone may be a money saver for you. It's free, so trying it out costs you nothing. If you've already checked it out, let us know what you think.
