Keeps the Doctor away. Notice how it says an apple. I do believe that means 1 and that would probably mean 1 serving of an apple. I don’t know what the orchard people are shooting into their apples these days, but they are making those bad boys huge. WHY? We don’t need apples that big. People think they are just eating 1 apple and what they are really eating is like 1 ½ to 2 apples. Portion Control has gone out the window. A serving size of fruit is 1 cup.
Now, the story of the apple lady, I will call her Annie. Annie the Apple Lady was really large. She was 95lbs overweight. Annie wanted to lose weight so she called this show and Lordy Lord they picked her to be on it. Now, this show was about this exercise dude that was going to take these 2 overweight gals and help them reach their goal weights. Well, Annie was stubborn as an old mule. She just couldn’t see past her EGO and she fought this poor man all the way. I was surprised he didn’t walk off the set and tell her to take a hike. Well, one day they were talking about APPLES, and she says, “Apples are healthy for you, I love them, in fact, I stop by the store every morning and I get myself a BAG of apples and I eat the whole bag on my commute to work.” Annie ate 10 apples on her way to work every day. 10 APPLES now who knows how big those apples were. Knowing Annie they were not school boy apples. And, Annie wonders why she is 95lbs overweight. Can you see how our Ego lies to us?
