At the same time, there have been times when I've wanted to blog from the road or at least have the option to throw up a quick post. Crunchy VT Mommy's round-up of the top ten iPhone apps for blogging women will help you carry less with you without leaving your blog totally at home. --Mel]

I am very attached to my iPhone. I previously posted about my favorite iPhone apps for family organization. Although I have always been a smart phone fan (I miss my cute Blackberry pearl sometimes), my fascination with my iPhone is beyond fangirldom. Way beyond. My iPhone has enabled me to read, write, shop, and learn at times I would have otherwise been unable. The convenience factor of today’s smartphones cannot be beat. Here is my list of the top ten iPhone apps for women bloggers.

I'd take a look at my6sense - it's a feed reader, but it's designed to "adapt" to your reading activities, i.e. it learns about what topics, issues etc. are important to you, based upon whether you skim, read in full, mark it, share it forwards - and as it learns, it bubbles the most important things, to you, to the top of a special list. If you subscribe to hundreds of feeds, but don't have the time to read every post in every feed in detail (hi, Denise!) - it's useful for those times when you don't jhave time for all the reading you might wish. They've just launched a Chrome extension, that does the same, just for Twitter - haven't tried it yet.
