April Fitness Challenge

April Fitness ChallengeAlright folks, new month new challenge. This month for the April Fitness Challenge we will be focusing on building up repetitions with squats, planks, V-Ups, and Push Ups. With alternating rest days there won't be a single day you aren't working something. I went with this particular challenge because as you know I really struggled with the March fitness challenge. See how I whined about it here, here and here...lol

Woo, a 5.5 minute plank on day 30!!! That's intense, but I know we can do it!

Now, I do have to take it easy on cardio this month. I had what we think was a seizure this past Saturday (new to me) and have been advised not to let my heart rate get to high. So my cardio for the month of April will consist of walking and yoga. I may try light jogging towards the end of the month. If you've ever had a seizure you know how scary they can be, so I'm really trying to prevent having another one.

So because my calorie deficits won't be as high as they have been previously I'll have to change the way I eat as well.

Today was a bit stressful. Our male kitty Tank had to be rushed to the vet for what turned out to be a blocked urethra. Thankfully for my exercise regime I had already taken Cassie for a short 1.5 mile walk.

Over - 27 (Dammit!)

Friday 4/4

Between working with clients all day, and running over to see Tank at the Vet, I didn't get my cardio in today. :(

Goal -1200

Calorie Intake - 1195

Under - 5

As you can see I took it easy for the first half of the week due to my little fit on Saturday. Still did OK though. Tuesday was a tough day calorie wise. Still got my challenge in everyday though. :)
