My boyfriend came to visit me this past weekend and we did a lot of nice things together: we went to dinner, went for walks, etc. However, I began to notice that some of the stereotypes of men that are portrayed in shows like Everybody Loves Raymond are actually true and as our relationship progresses, I begin to see more of these stereotypes come to light. For one, I was very surprised and a little upset that my boyfriend didn't just want to talk, instead, he preferred to watch family guy.
Furthermore, he isn't as affectionate with me as he used to be when we started dating because "we are past that stage". All this makes me wonder, are women too needy or are men just built a certain way?
