Good news for iPhone and Android owners, you can legally jailbreak/root your phone! What does that mean? Jailbreaking is a way to run third-party apps, codes, and themes that are not available in the iTunes store. Rooting is a similar process for the Android phone.
Way back when I got my first iPhone, I jailbreaked so I could get a cool etch-a-sketch app. I know, that sounds crazy, doesn't it? But way back then, there weren't a lot of apps available, and I really wanted that app -- and a few others that were fun and interesting. Jailbreaking the phone invalidated the warranty, but it was totally worth it.
With so many apps available from iTunes, I don't see myself jailbreaking right now. But then again, it might just depend on which unauthorized third-party apps come available.
Will you be jailbreaking your iPhone or rooting your 'Droid?
