Are You a Newbie Attending BlogHer PRO This Week?

BlogHer Original Post

BlogHer PROBlogHer PRO is in two days, and as I was looking around the blogosphere to see what people are saying about the conference ahead of time, I noticed a small trend: Newbies! A number of the registered attendees for our December 13th conference are new to the blogging conference scene and are feeling like you might remember feeling for your first conference: excited, nervous and everything in between. I thought I'd share two of their posts so you might go wish them well.

If you're feeling nervous, you're not alone. Sarah at So Says Sarah is dealing with the same feeling I have before every big event.

It’s my first blogging conference and I’m not really sure why I’m going. Sure, it seemed like the right thing to do when I purchased the ticket over a month ago, but now I’m letting my head get the best of me and I’m seriously ready to find some excuse not to go.

Yeah, I’m lame like that.

But then I remind myself there is an amazing community of awesome crafty (and local!) ladies that are attending, all of whom I’m excited to meet. There’s going to be interactive activities and professional speakers. There’s going to be free food.

Tickles and Tots is also new to the conference scene and is excited.

I have attended webinars and online conferences, but this will be my very first conference. I am so excited to be in attendance and learn new tips and information that I can use to take my blog to the next level. I would love to meet and network with my friends and fellow bloggers.

Are you a newbie at our BlogHer PRO conference? Well, all of you are, including the staff as this is our first PRO conference! All the same, we'd love to hear what you're feeling as the conference is looming. Share your fears and hopes in the comments and we'll answer any big ones you might be wondering!
