Army says TBI (traumatic brain injury) may be overdiagnosed

Oh boy. I'm not even sure if I should comment on this one. I mean, technically, I don't have all the facts and I can only comment on soldiers I know who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan (did I mention my husband goes back this year with the Guards?) Still, the military doesn't exactly have a great record of taking care of their soldiers since this war. Have you heard about the conditions at some of the VA hospitals? Some of the soldiers recovering there said they'd rather go back to COMBAT then stay there. Yikes!

So when I read this piece that (in my opinion) says the Army is underplaying TBI and the number of soldiers coming back with TBI, it made my blood boil. I'll let you judge for yourself though.
