Around the Big Tent: BlogHer Talks to Joe Trippi
by I know this guy named Joe Trippi.
I met him on Twitter and we talked about his chickens and his blog.
Let's face it, you might not know him unless you follow politics-but you should know Joe Trippi.
The abbreviated version goes something like this:
Joe Trippi is a long-time American Democratic campaign worker and consultant. A mainstay in presidential politics, Trippi has worked on the presidential campaigns of Edward Kennedy, Walter Mondale, Gary Hart, Dick Gephardt, and most recently John Edwards. Most notably, he served as campaign manager for presidential candidate and former Vermont governor Howard Dean.
Watch Joe and I talk about conventions, spin, Biden, Clinton, and of course, Obama. We never got around to chatting about his chickens.

I finally got to meet him yesterday!
I was so happy to finally meet him in person yesterday, after all we went through in the '04 race. He was running off to another event, of course... Read his book, The Revolution Will Not Be Televised. It's all about his journey before and during the Dean campaign. He's very dedicated not only to politics as a craft, but to citizen involvement and open democracy.
