Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles 2012 Christmas House
By Design Perspective on December 11, 2012
Last week Christy got the opportunity to visit Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Christmas House 2012. The Christmas House showed through November 16th-December 9th; unfortunately the tour has ended. But lucky for you, we were able to take some photographs to share with you the gorgeous interiors designed talented designers.
Unfortunately, since the house was bought, photographs of the entire rooms were not allowed, only vignettes. To see whole room shots, you will have to wait for the issue in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine.
The Christmas House is located in Atlanta's prestigious Chastain Park. The beautiful country English style home is faced with white brick and stone...the color combinations are calming and quaint.

High gloss paint on the walls and trim looked spectacular with this neutral grass cloth wallpaper on the ceiling.
Hand-painted stencil detail on the curtains in the gentleman's study added a sophisticated touch to the space.
Layering rugs is another great detail

Grass cloth wallpaper inset in the wall panels. A great way to add texture and richness to a space.

I spy the Pearson 9672 table in the master bedroom sitting area
And the master bath had a touch of whimsy with this ottoman.
Not sure how I feel about the one sconce in the center of this mirror. I might have done one single light at the top instead.
The proceeds benefitted Alliance Theatre.
