Aunt Dodie's Beans

I love going through all the old hand-me-down recipes from generations before me.  Here's one from my Aunt Dodie who lives in Ravenna, Ohio.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup chopped onion

1 lb ground sausage, cooked and crumbled

1 can pork & beans

1 can mild chili beans

1 can hot chili beans

1 can green beans

1 can red, black or white beans

1 can tomato paste

1 can tomato soup

1 cup brown sugar

1 lb bacon (not cooked)

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 325.

MIX all of the above in a big mixing bowl.  Add in 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce.  Put  mixture in a baking dish and lay bacon across the top.  Bake at 325 for 2 hours.
