BABYSITTING 101: FILIPINO STYLE OR AMERICAN STYLE?

Holding
those memories to cherish, I realized that “parenting and/or
babysitting” in my tiny country is entirely a contrasting picture from
the way Americans perceive the concept of babysitting.

In
a country fraught with poverty, inhabited by a very young population
(average age is 23) and with a measly average monthly income of
$165.00, attending to babies is in variance to the American way.

Of
course, without being said, as a very rich nation, Americans can afford
more gadgets and gizmos for baby’s safety and health concerns. The
whole American nation is entirely focused on children’s rights and
needs, hence there are more laws and regulations for them.

Here,
I would share with you a list to compare how Filipinos and Americans
take care of their babies and little tykes. See for yourself which one
is a better option.
