Barbie Goes Granola

Barbie Goes Granola

A little bit of everything……..

~After enjoying a week of sunny 70′s weather, we are headed back to the mountains today for a forecast of 6-12 inches of snow (oh joy)

~I have been wanting to export all of my blogs into one place, so you will be seeing those ‘whimsied’ (yes, spell check – I am aware that word is probably not in Websters) in.

~Thoughts at the funny farm have turned to outdoor activities. Even Barbie has gone a little granola and is doing some rappelling. (my youngest is a rappelling monkey)

I loved walking in the living room and and seeing a ‘zip-line’ going from my dining room through my living room! And though Barbie was flexing her muscles and C- had tied a very realistic SWISS SEAT for her to swing by, looking at the color of the zip line and Barbies outfit and Tiara,(true C- fashion)  I think Barb will still be shaving her legs…….at least for the time being.

I on the other hand………………….

I’ll think I will go design a new line for Matel now; GRANOLA BARBIE  ~ razor and bra optional.

~Y’all have got to try this recipe, it is soooo good I have eaten it for lunch every day this week. And my children are overjoyed (not)  I love the fact that it is so easy and healthy:

Greek Veggie Wraps

sun dried tomatoes

6-8 cherry tomatoes roughly chopped

6-Kalmata olives chopped

1/2 a small red onion finely sliced

Two handfuls of fresh spinach leaves

2 TBS. roasted garlic hummus

2 TBS feta cheese

Spread 1 TBS. hummus on each wrap. layer with remaining ingredients. Easy as that. I think I will do them as sliced roll ups and add them to my catering by Text-Enhance" id="_GPLITA_0" style="text-decoration: underline;">menu this summer!

wrap ~Yum!

~They have already called school off for tomorrow, so it looks like it’s going to be a very productive day. (plans are to stay in pajamas- read the sequel to Divergence, ‘Insurgence’ )

Has anyone read this yet? Any suggestions for another book of this type?
